Go and do likewise...becoming better neighbors
Worldwide Missions With a Local Impact

We believe God has blessed all of Christ's followers with special gifts to be used for missions and ministry. Longview seeks to constantly challenge each believer to discover his/her gifts and to put them into practice through missions and ministry opportunities. Our missions ministries are organized into two main groups:

Brotherhood is composed of:
  • Baptist Men (for men ages 18 and up)
  • Youth on Mission (for teens Grades 6-12)
  • Royal Ambassadors (for boys Grades 1-5), also known as RAs
  • Women On Mission (for women ages 18 and up)
  • Girls in Action (for girls Grades 1-5), also known as GAs
  • Mission Friends (for preschoolers ages 2 through kindergarten)
Some of our past mission trips include church construction in Belize, disaster relief in Gulfport, Mississippi following Hurricane Katrina and World Changers in Gastonia, North Carolina. Other missions we support include Operation Christmas Child, Helen Wright Women's Center, Love From Jesus Ministries and Raleigh Rescue Mission.
