The Music Ministry at Longview
Music adds a noticeable dimension to the worship experience, and there are a variety of ways you can enjoy and actively participate in that each week at Longview.
Adult Choir
The adult choir provides weekly service music and choral selections throughout the year for the 10:55 Sunday morning worship service. The choir meets every Wednesday night from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the choir room for regular weekly rehearsal and then again on Sunday mornings at 10:45 for warm-up and practice before the 10:55 a.m. service. There's always room for more sopranos, altos, tenors, basses and special talents, so please join us!

Longview Ringers
The Longview Ringers is our adult handbell choir. The group practices August through May and performs at seasonal events such as Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Handbell practice is from 6:35 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings when handbell practice is in session.

TeamKID Choir
TeamKID (Kids In Discipleship) has been a true blessing and a welcome addition to Longview's Sunday evening schedule. Part of this fun, high-energy children's program is a children's choir that meets each Sunday night when TeamKID is in session. The group is composed of children Grades 1-5.

Music Makers
The Music Makers preschool choir is composed of preschoolers ages 4 through kindergarten and meets for practice each Wednesday night from 7 to 7:30 p.m. September through May.

Youth Choir
The Youth Choir is an exciting addition to our music ministry. Teenagers (Grades 6-12) comprise the Youth Choir.
Special Music
Most Sunday morning services at Longview feature special music from one of our many talented church members. This is four minutes of song that stays with you throughout the week.
5th Sunday Night Sing
Most months that have five Sundays end with a 5th Sunday Night Sing at Longview. This is a special time of worship and fellowship as folks from throughout our church membership and community share their musical talent through a variety of musical styles, instruments and accompaniment.
