During a special called business meeting on Sunday, July 11, 2010, Longview Baptist Church approved the recommendation of the Pastor Search Committee to call Dr. Randall (Randy) Lee McKinney to be the 9th pastor in Longview’s history. Dr. McKinney, his wife Karen, and their two children Addison and Peyton, will be moving from Greenville, NC, to Raleigh soon. They begin their ministries at Longview on Monday, August 16. Plan now to be present if at all possible on their first Sunday at Longview, August 22, to participate in God’s new beginnings at our church. Meanwhile, Dr. Lolley will continue as our Pastor in the Interim until July 31, 2010. Please join in prayer for this exciting time in the life of our church!
