Some of the activities we take part in are building and grounds maintenance in and around the church. We also provide yard and home service for our elderly and home bound members. Other upcoming opportunities include:
Red Springs Mission Camp Teams serving at Red Springs Mission Camp have the opportunity to make an impact on people's lives. The Mission Camp leadership will identify a project based on the current need and the skills of the team we send from Longview. While the service provided by teams is important in and of itself, the opportunity to build relationships, pray for and minister to the local homeowners is the real purpose of the Mission Camp. If you're interested in participating in this activity, please contact Horace Macon. We're currently looking at potential dates in late September or early October.
Disaster Relief Vehicle A vehicle has been donated to Longview for use by the Baptist Men's group for disaster relief missions. The vehicle was donated in very good condition with relatively low mileage and should function well for our purposes. For details, please see Jack Given III.
