Overview: Longview Baptist Church is seeking a Senior Pastor to shepherd our congregation into the next chapter of ministry and service. We are a multigenerational, mission-minded, congregationally led, traditional Baptist church. We are affiliated with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, CBFNC and the Raleigh Baptist Association.  We offer weekly worship services with traditional music and a choir. Senior Pastor Profile

Preaching and Teaching

  • Demonstrates a firm foundation in Biblical teaching

  • Able to deliver clear sermons that are based on scripture and are relatable

Pastoral Care

  • A compassionate listener who is an approachable, mature Christian

  • Comfortable with visiting homebound, hospitals and grieving members while providing emotional, social and spiritual support

  • Communicates well with those of all ages and builds relationships alongside the team of Deacons

Mission and Community Focused

  • Exemplifies a passion for missions and community outreach

  • Actively supports the missional efforts of the congregation

  • Build relationships and fosters involvement with the other congregations that use our church facilities
